OUR PROGRAMS
Infinity Academy is a Project-Based & nature-rooted Private educational program on 17 acres in Ridgeway, Ontario.

Our days are filled with exploration, creativity, mindfulness and academics while immersed in the forest, our school-house, maker space and four season yurt. At Infinity Academy we believe in a cross curricular approach to teaching where children understand the interconnectedness between subjects, learning, well-being and living.
We have four different groups within our community and we will be moving up with them each year until Grade 8.
Pre-Kindergarten Class for 3 year olds
Kindergarten Class for 4 & 5 year olds
Primary Class: Grades 1 to 3
Junior Class: Grades 4 to 6
We offer full-time, part time and drop in days for 3.5 to 10 year olds.
Well-being and emotional intelligence are a top priority at Infinity academy. Our children develop a deep sense of self and the natural world around us being immersed in nature for at least half of the day as we practice daily mindfulness, physical movement, risky play, and learning through our children’s curiosities. Our guides intentionally plan lessons and socratic discussions that develop the core skills from our curriculum.
Children at Infinity Academy receive an explicit literacy and numeracy lesson each day that are purposefully planned by our guides to meet the interests and needs of each child. We also have lessons that are interwoven through nature, inquiry and play. You can expect whole group, small group, 1:1 conferencing, problem-solving experiences, purposeful practice and direct instruction.
We believe in the power of community to support and enrich learning. Our program fosters a sense of belonging and collaboration among children, guides, families, and the wider community. Our students host a winter and summer market which is part of their entrepreneurial project.
Our experiential curriculum includes gardening, cooking, baking, woodworking, canning, sewing, building, and entrepreneurship.

At Infinity Academy, we seek to inspire a lifelong love for learning, nature and a deep sense of wonder and awe of the world.

We are a Project-Based and Nature-Rooted program, meaning we study, observe and inquire about the natural progressions of the seasons. We spend a lot of time outdoors exploring 17 acres and we value teaching our students how to plant and grow food, how to cook outdoors, plant identification, foraging, homesteading and primitive skills.
We do spend some time indoors for part of the day. We have flexible learning spaces, a maker space, kitchen and area for our students to learn new skills, have explicit lessons and work on their projects.
